  • Consolidated disparate accounting platforms globally to NetSuite to drive department accuracy and productivity, including the SOP’s for budgeting, financial reporting and accounting.

  • Improved cash flow and working capital management process: raised debt as needed

  • Data: Planned, curated and launched data dashboards and KPI reporting for managers of the business to better execute on plan.

  • Secured $1MM+ in annual savings on interest expense by radically increasing free cash flow through improved billing and collections strategy which reduced average days to collection by 28%

  • Implemented new Cloud-based ERP platform with no downtime to the business in the first three months leading to a reduction in time closing the monthly financials by 25%

  • Successfully concluded NYS SALT audit that sought +$1m in retroactive sales tax liability by developing defense showing products sold during period lacked taxable nexus. 

  • Spearheaded pricing initiatives to optimize product line-up ARR contribution by 30%

  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Spearheaded the valuation, documentation, and implementation of 7 companies, participating in the closing of 8 companies

  • Developed and implemented new financial reporting platform (Finance Portal) that consolidated existing multiple reports into one online delivery tool easing the deployment of reporting to the regional offices saving time and generating increased awareness of senior team members about the status of the overall business

  • Reduced CAPEX outlays for IT by 19% implementing share program that pulled excess inventory from other OpCo’s saving the need for new capital outlays

  • Increased Other Income by 420% and 37% in consecutive years after implementing Cash Pooling System with holding company

  • Negotiated and structured new bank financing (credit facility) with improved terms resulting in an additional 200% borrowing capacity at reduced rates ensuring sufficient capital for operations and growth initiatives.

  • Proposed, developed and administered plan for currency exchange risk for billings to largest client which was billed in Euros (€) – led to translation gains in excess of $100K in 14 months

  • Reviewed, negotiated and approved all client contracts (fixed fee, labor-based, performance incentives); improved terms on largest client engagement by modifying key provisions to improve contract profitability by 11% without a reduction in perceived services.

Realizing the need to better keep track of New Business efforts, developed, created and implemented the OPAL platform to track real-time progress against sales goals.  The real time dashboard aggregated activity producing directional guidance to senior management.

Weekly pitch & proposal pipeline report 

Managing a disparate group of Account Managers presented logistical problems in trying to coordinate and keep them current of the weekly New Business meeting.  The creation of the 'push report' that was sent automatically to smart phones, real time data and meeting data was that the tips of key managers traveling.
